Nantia & Anikitos
The gorgeous natural surroundings of the historical church of the Prophet Elias in Chania was the picture-perfect setting for Nantia & Anikitos’ amazing Greek Orthodox wedding in Crete.
I was honoured to capture every precious moment of their wedding story and the images, so full of love & joy, clearly speak for themselves!
With both the bride & groom being Greek, it was only natural that they would want the most important day of their lives to take place here in sun-kissed Greece. Their choice of Anikitos’ original home city of Chania made their romantic wedding day all the more meaningful.
The happy couple travelled from their home in France together with family & friends to take their vows at the charming 15thcentury Orthodox chapel. They then celebrated their marriage with an elegant dinner & fun-filled reception party at the exquisite Kanatakis Estate with its breath-taking sea views & leafy palm trees. A funky live band kept the party grooving into the early hours!
Earlier in the day, before the ceremony, I was present to capture Nantia’s awesome wedding preparations, surrounded by her girls! I love these bubbly, happy pre-wedding shots…so full of fun & emotion!
The new Mr & Mrs chose Chania’s picturesque Venetian harbour as the unique backdrop for a fabulous post-wedding photo shoot. You can just feel the happy vibes!
Nantia’s to-die-for bridal gown is by Céline de Monicault & her stylish wedding shoes are by Aymée.
